Taking Care of Your Wooden Spoons:

  • If your wood looks a little raw from wear and tear, take some sandpaper, and starting with a rougher grit (80 grit) lightly sand the wood, gradually working your way up to a fine finish (400 grit).

  • Using a damp cloth or tack cloth wipe the wood, removing any excess dust off the spoon from sanding.

  • After sanding, use a finish such as wax, mineral oil (or a combination of both), apply a helping spread over the wood. Allow to dry, wipe clean any excess and then you’re good to go!
