Wooden Spoons
The Wood
Types of Wood Used:
All spoons are carved using hardwood. This includes: Birch, Cherry, Arbutus and Black Walnut. Spoons are just like snowflakes, no two are ever exactly alike. Each spoon will have it’s own unique shapes, grain, colour, and personality.
Sources:
All wood used (except black walnut) is locally sourced! My sources include family and friends who work in the arborist industry, or who have a lot of trees on their property. All other species of wood not local come from speciality wood stores.

Spoon Care:
To make your spoons last, make to sure treat them with care:
I finish off my spoons with a home-made beeswax save. This is made using local raw beeswax along with mineral oil. The finish is food safe, and helps to protect the wood.
